Central to MyComfort’s eye masks is the use of ECONYL® regenerated nylon for the outer shell – a groundbreaking innovation in sustainable textiles.
Produced by Aquafil in Italy, ECONYL® is a premium nylon that matches the quality and performance of virgin nylon but is radically different in its origin: it is made 100% from waste.
Rescuing Resources
At MyComfort, we use ECONYL® regenerated nylon, made from waste like ghost fishing nets, old carpets, and fabric scraps. By reclaiming these materials, especially ocean plastics, we directly combat pollution and protect marine life.
Regeneration, Not Just Recycling
The collected waste undergoes a sophisticated sorting and cleaning process before entering the core regeneration stage. Unlike mechanical recycling, ECONYL® undergoes chemical regeneration, restoring nylon to its original purity and performance—indistinguishable from virgin nylon, without fossil fuels.
