Having lived with Sporadic Hemiplegic Migraine for nearly three decades, I designed MyComfort® to be a brand with a soul. Through our Give Back initiative, we proudly support causes, ensuring that a percentage of our success is always shared with those navigating their own path to recovery and resilience.We will be releasing Limited edition eye masks , Starting with the Elizabeth for Daffodil day 2026, €20 from each sale will go to The Irish Cancer Society.

From Chronic Pain to Purpose: My Story
27 years ago after the birth of my second son, I began to have debilitating Migraine, After 6 years I was diagnosed with a rare sub-type called Sporadic Hemiplegic migraine. It has left me with physical disabilities, on the left side of my body including osteoporosis in my left Jaw. At 46 I suffered from heart failure and was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. since then, Further diagnoses of thyroid issues,fibromyalgia, lung issues.
Depression has played a big part in my life as well.
I worked for 30 years as a retail Manager, and I loved my job despite the many challenges that it brought. It was in 2023, I left my last role, knowing that I both physically and mentally would not work in a company again.
My body and brain just had enough.
I always wanted to start my own business, and it was my hubby who convinced me to start MyComfort®.
Many people would give up with 1 of my conditions, but I’m not built that way !! I need a purpose, besides my family who are amazing, I always loved business, learning and customer service.
In 2023, the idea began, and it took me 18 months to design, source materials and build MyComfort® the way i wanted it to be.
